Delays warning over flu jabs

Two vaccine manufacturers have warned GPs that supples of flu vaccine may be late this year due to delays in the manufacturing process.
It is thought six other makers are not experiencing difficulties.
Each year the World Health Organisation expert group decides which three strains of flu should be contained in the seasonal flu vaccine in order to provide the best match to the strains predicted to be in circulation.
However, this year the WHO made the decision later than normal, setting back the manufacturing process.
