Parents, Carers and Professionals are invited to an event being hosted by Wiltshire Parent Carer Council to find out more about employment opportunities available in Wiltshire for young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Jane Scott, Leader of Wiltshire Council, will be opening the event and key speakers from Wiltshire Employment Support Team (WEST), Community Connecting, Wiltshire College, Shaw Trust and Job Centre Plus will be telling us more about employment options. This will be followed by an open floor question and answer session.

On the day there will be plenty of time to browse the display stands and pick up lots of useful information. Stallholders include Westlea Housing ‘Whatever Project’, Mencap, Wiltshire Wood Recycling, Jobcentre Plus, WEST, Shaw Trust and Community Connecting—a great opportunity to speak to the very people who can help our young people with breaking into the world of work.

They hope you can make this event which aims to raise employment aspirations for young people in Wiltshire, who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.

* Refreshments and lunch will be provided, so please be sure to book!
* Places will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Professionals are very welcome although priority will be given to parents and carers.
