SURVEY: Wiltshire Short Breaks Local Offer

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are fast approaching the launch of this year's Short Break's Local Offer - which is just one of the ways that Wiltshire Council provides short breaks, or leisure opportunities to children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities, aged from 0-18yrs.

All the options available to choose from for 2012-2013 will be similar to last year (if you are unfamiliar with what was available last year, details can be found here http://wiltshireparentcarercouncil.co.uk/LocalOffer.aspx).
Once again, the Council aims to launch the Short Breaks Local Offer in the month of March (which by all accounts worked very well last year) and the target is to have information leaflets and application forms ready for the Annual Aiming High Event which is scheduled for the 14th March at the Civic Hall in Trowbridge (more info about that soon).

As with all short breaks provided or commissioned by the Council, the Wiltshire Parent Carer Council feedback your comments throughout the year on an ongoing basis - this includes what is working well as well as highlighting any common issues.  This helps them to develop future services to ensure they continue to meet the needs of our children and our families.
So, as they attend their final review meetings for the Short Breaks Local Offer and prepare for 2012-2013, it would be very helpful to get your collective views about this provision.

If you used the Wiltshire Short Breaks Local Offer last year, please take a few moments of your time to complete the survey by clicking here https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Local_Offer_2011

The survey will close on Friday 27th January at midnight and feedback the results to Wiltshire Council the following week.
